Laboratory of Biogeography and Diversification
The Laboratory of Biogeography and Diversification deals with the distribution of butterflies and other organisms and its changes in the past and future, as well as the relationship between distribution and evolutionary processes. Thus, the processes leading to the origin of new species and or their extinction. We try to explain why some species are declining and others are increasing, what is behind this and how toactively help in nature conservation at the Czech and international level.
